Respondents PRAYER:- Writ Petitions filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, 1950, praying to issue a Writ of Mandamus directing the Third Respondent to re-fix the Pay Scale of the Petitioners in Pay Band 4 in Rs. 37400-67000 with AGP Rs. 9000 with effect from 01.01.2009 and to consequently to direct the Third Respondent to pay the arrears scale of pay to the Petitioners. Heard Mrs.P.Rajathi, Learned Counsel for the Petitioners and Mr.V.Jeevagiridharan, Learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for the First and Second Respondents and Mr.D.Simon appearing for the Fourth Respondent and perused the materials placed on record, apart from the pleadings of the parties.
2. The Writ Petition has been filed for directing the Third Respondent to re-fix the scale of pay of the Petitioners in pay band 4 with aggregated grade pay of Rs. 9,000/- with effect from 01.01.2009 with all consequential monetary benefits.
3. It has been brought to notice by Learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for the First and Second Respondents that the Director of Technical Education by Proceedings No.7892/C2/2018 dated 08.07.2020, Proceedings No.7892/C2/2018-2 dated 26.05.2020 and Proceedings No.7892/C2/ 2018-2 dated 15.02.2020 re-fixed the scale of pay Petitioners and its copies have been placed on record. In view of the subsequent events after the filing of the Writ Petition, nothing remains for further consideration in the matter, but if the Petitioners still have any grievance to be redressed, they are not precluded from working out their rights before the proper forum in the manner recognized by law.
In fine, the Writ Petition is disposed with the aforesaid observations. No costs.
