In connection with land dispute, police has sought the petitioner herein to participate in the enquiry. Apprehending that, police may harass him, present petition is filed.

2. The learned Government Advocate (Crl. Side) submitted that, petitioner acted as broker to a property deal which has a clouded title. Alleging impersonation, complaint has been given by one Fathima Bee. In this connection, presence of the petitioner is required. Therefore, petitioner was called by the respondent police. However, without co-operating with the investigation, petitioner has approached this Court as if Police is interfering. He further submitted that, if petitioner co-operates with the investigation, they will not resort to cohersive measures to secure his presence.

3. In the light of the submissions made by the learned Government Advocate (Crl. Side), this Criminal Original Petition is dismissed. Petitioner is directed to appear before the respondent police on summons and cooperate with the investigation. 2/6
