This petition is filed to direct the 2nd to 39th respondents to take appropriate action to secure and safeguard the interest of minor to the 40th respondent temple by rectifying anomalies more fully stated in the petitioner's representation and in the report of 39th respondent by considering petitioner representations dated 05.04.2018 and 31.08.2025.

2. The learned counsel for the petitioner would submit that the petitioner is the devotee of Arulmigu Kasivishwanathar Temple, Velur, Paramathi Velur Taluk, Namakkal District, however, there was mismanagement by the hereditary trustees while temple renovation and for which, enquiry notice was initiated on 18.05.2018 by the Joint Commissioner, and final order was passed on 07.08.2025 and the said authority was placed under suspension and subsequently, the fit person was appointed on 12.09.2025. Since basic amenities have not been provided to the devotees of the temple, the petitioner made a representation on 31.08.2025 to the respondents, however, no action was taken, therefore, the petitioner has come up with the present petition.

3. Per contra, the learned counsel appearing for the respondents seeks time to consider the petitioner's representation and to pass appropriate orders. 7/10

Considering the facts and circumstances of the case, without expressing any opinion on the merits of the matter, the 26 th respondent is directed to consider the petitioner's representation dated 31.08.2025 on merits and in accordance with law and pass appropriate orders within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. Since the direction is issued only to the 26 th respondent, who is the appropriate authority, all other respondents being unnecessary to this lis, are being deleted from the array of parties.
