This application has been filed to issue summons to the so-called Investigating Officer appointed by the applicant, which is the subject matter of the suit.

2. Though the application is filed to summon the witness, this Court is of the considered view that he may not be treated as Court witness since he himself has been appointed as Investigating Officer by the plaintiff. Such being the position, the plaintiff has to examine him as his own witness and not as Court witness. Hence, the Registry is directed to issue summons to the witness and such witness should be examined only as plaintiff's side witness and not as Court's side witness.

3. Issue summons for appearance of the witness on 17.03.2020 before the Additional Master Court-IV.
