The Official Liquidator v. Nil

Comp.A.No.445 of 2024 in C.P.No.3 of 1983 ABDUL QUDDHOSE, J.

This application has been filed by the learned Official Liquidator seeking modification of the earlier order dated 19.07.2024 passed by this Court in C.A.No.244 of 2024 in C.P.No.3 of 1983. Inadvertently eventhough, the official liquidator sought for permission to effect paper publication in 'Hindu' and 'Dinamalar', this Court in the aforesaid order had directed the Official Liquidator to effect paper publication in various other newspapers. Only to rectify the inadvertent mistake, this application has been filed. Apart from seeking the aforesaid relief, the official Liquidator also seeks permission of this Court to incur expenditure towards the aforesaid publication from and out of the funds available in the account of the company under liquidation.

2. This Court is satisfied with the report of the learned Official Liquidator filed in support of this application and accordingly, the prayer sought for in Comp.A.No.445 of 2024 is allowed as prayed for.
