MAHADEVAN CRIMINAL MISCELLANEOUS PETITION No.17875 of 2019 IN CRL.RC.NO.980 OF 2019 JOHN MATHEW [ PETITIONER ] Vs RAMALINGAM [ RESPONDENT ] Petition praying that in the circumstances stated therein the High Court will be pleased to extend the time for deposit of 50% of cheque amount had directed to the revision petitioner to deposit 50% of the Cheque amount (Rs.15,00,000/-) namely Rs.75,000/- before the Trial Court, within four weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order in Crl.M.P.NO.13748 of 2019 in Crl.RC.No.980 of 2019. [CRL.MP.NO.17875/2019] Order : This petition coming on for orders upon perusing the petition and upon hearing the arguments of M/S.D.

SREENIVASAN Advocate for the petitioner , the court made the following order:- This Criminal Miscellaneous Petition is filed by the petitioner seeking to extend the time to deposit Rs.7,50,000/- before the Trial Court within four weeks from the date of receipt of copy of the order in Crl.M.P.No.13748 of 2019 in Crl.R.C.No.980 of 2019.

2. Heard the learned counsel for both sides.

3. The learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that due to financial constrains, the petitioner was not able to comply with condition (a) of the earlier order of this Court, dated 25.09.2019, namely, to deposit Rs.7,50,000/- before the Trial Court.

4. Acceding to the said request, time is granted till 16.12.2019 to deposit such amount. It is made clear that, excepting the time extension, the other conditions imposed in the earlier order dated 25.09.2019 shall remain unaltered.
