ORDER

The petitioner, a legal consultant, has discharged her duties as a Member of an internal committee, proving a sexual harassment case in a private organisation. The petitioner has discharged her duties as an internal committee member and gave a report that a complaint alleged by the complainant was not proved.

2. It is stated that the complainant had filed a complaint before the Tamil Nadu State Commission for Women. The said Commission sent a communication to the petitioner dated 22.08.2025 directing the petitioner to appear before it for enquiry. Seeking to quash the said communication, the petitioner is before this Court.

3. When the matter is taken up for hearing, the learned counsel for the respondent submitted that no complaint has been registered against the petitioner.

4. The said statement is recorded.

5. Since there lies no complaint against the petitioner venturing into the merits of the case, is only an empty formality. Therefore, the writ petition is allowed and impugned order is set aside by recording the statement by the learned counsel for the respondent that no complaint is pending against the petitioner. No costs. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petitions are closed.
