(Order of the Court was made by the Hon'ble Acting Chief Justice) This writ petition has been filed by the petitioner for issuance of a writ of quo warranto against the fifth respondent requiring her to show cause under what authority she is holding the post of Assistant Professor in the Department of Aquaculture, Dr.M.G.R. Fisheries College and Research Institute, Ponneri.
2. Today, when the writ petition is taken up for hearing, learned Government Advocate, on instructions, submitted that the fifth respondent has been relieved from the post of Assistant Professor and, as on today, she is not holding the said post.
3. In view of the said statement made by learned
Government Advocate, nothing survives for adjudication in the present writ petition. Accordingly, the writ petition is disposed of. There shall be no order as to costs. Consequently, W.M.P.No.34772 of 2019 is closed.
