O R D E R

This writ petition has been filed challenging the order passed by the first respondent dated 05.01.2021 thereby rejected the request made by the petitioner seeking disbursal of gratuity together with interest.

It is seen that while pending the writ petition, the third respondent has come forward to settle a sum of Rs.12,09,498/- after deduction.

Therefore, though the petitioner disputed the same amount, the third respondent is directed to disburse the said amount of Rs.12,09,498/- with interest at the rate of 4% per annum, within a period 2/4

of two weeks from the date of receipt of copy of this order. Further, if there is any dispute in respect of the quantum of the benefit, the petitioner is at liberty to make further claim in the manner known to law. 4.

With the above direction, this writ petition is closed. There shall be no order as to costs.
