O R D E R

The petitioner has come up with this writ petition, seeking a direction to the respondents 2 and 3 to consider his representation dated 17.07.2017 within a time frame.

2.Heard Mr.Rajesh, learned counsel for the petitioner and Mr.Sathish, learned Additional Government Pleader, appearing for the respondents 1 to 4.

3.The case of the petitioner is that, he became absolute owner of the property in S.No.125, measuring an extent of 6.5 acres, by virtue of a registered sale deed dated 17.08.1985 and he has been in possession and enjoyment of the same. The grievance of the petitioner is that, one Kuppan, S/o.Ponnan, has been included as joint pattadar in a survey conducted under UDR Scheme.

4.This writ petition is filed based on the representation given by the petitioner to the 1st respondent. It is to be noted that, if any error is committed during the survey conducted under UDR Scheme, the competent authority to rectify the mistake/error is the District Revenue Officer. It seems that the petitioner has not filed any appeal before the 2nd respondent.

5.Hence, this writ petition is closed with liberty to the petitioner to file an appeal before the 2nd respondent. No costs.
