Prayer: Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India for issuance of a Writ of Mandamus, directing the respondents to remove and shift the Electricity Pole erected in the rearside of petitioner's property at No.3/308, Palanivel Street, Divyadas Nagar, Polichallur, Chennai - 600 074 by considering the representation dated 14.10.2024 sent by the petitioner and grant such other suitable reliefs as this case may been fit and proper. O R D E R

The petitioner herein seeks a direction to the respondents to remove the Electricity Pole erected in the petitioner's property situated in Door No.3/308, Palanivel Street, Divyadas Nagar, Polichallur, Chennai, by considering his representation dated 14.10.2024.

2. It is the case of the petitioner that he purchased 1806sq.ft. of land in plot No.5, survey no.221/4, Polichallur, Ellarajamanikkam street. The respondents entered the property high handedly and put up an electric pole. Aggrieved by the same, the petitioner submitted a representation dated 14.10.2024 seeking removal of the electric pole erected in the property of the petitioner and the same has not been considered till date. Therefore, the petitioner is before this Court.

3. Mr.L.Jaivenkatesh, learned Standing Counsel, who takes notice for the respondents would submit that the representation of the petitioner will be considered, on merits, in accordance with law, within the time fixed by this Court.

4. In view of the above submission made by the learned Standing 2/4

Counsel, without going into the merits of the claim made by the petitioner, this Court is inclined to issue a direction to the third respondent to consider the representation of the petitioner dated 14.10.2024 and pass final orders, within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

5. With the above direction, this Writ Petition is disposed of. No costs.
