O R D E R

This Criminal Original Petition has been filed for a direction to transfer the investigation in Crime No.485 of 2017 on the file of the Inspector of Police, E.1, Mylapore Police Station, Chennai to the Inspector of Police, CBCID, Chennai.

2. The learned Additional Public Prosecutor for the respondents submitted that initially the case was registered in Crime No.485 of 2019 under Section 174 Cr.P.C. and on investigation now the case has been altered under Section 304 (ii) of IPC against the accused person.

3. Under this circumstance, the change of investigation would affect the entire investigation in Crime No.485 of 2019. Therefore, the direction sought for by the petitioner cannot https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

be granted. However, the second respondent is directed to complete the investigation and file a final report within a period of twelve weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

4. With the above direction, this Criminal Original Petition is disposed of.
