This Writ Petition has been filed for quashment of the notice dated 30.06.2022 of the third respondent and consequently for a direction to the respondents to reinstate and retain the petitioner in service till he completes 60 years of age on 30.06.2024 and pay all attendant benefits.

2. When the matter is taken up for hearing, the learned Additional Government Pleader for the respondents submitted that the petitioner was relieved from service on 30.06.2022 on attaining the age of superannuation.

3. Since the petitioner had already been relieved from service on 30.06.2022, nothing survives for adjudication in this petition. Therefore, the prayer sought in this present Writ Petition has become infructuous. Accordingly, the Writ Petition is dismissed as infructuous. No costs.
