Prayer Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying for the issuance of a Writ of Mandamus directing the respondents to reserve the land classified as OSR in Survey No 126, Sirkar Periyapalayam village, Uthukuli Panchayat Union, Tirupur Taluk, Tirupur District as only open space Reservation and further to forbear the respondents from putting up any construction on the said land in any future point in time. For Petitioner : M/s.S.Suneetha For Respondents : Mrs.S.Anitha Special Government Pleader Order Heard M/s.S.Suneetha, learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and Mrs.S.Anitha., learned Special Government Pleader for respondents.

This Writ Petition is filed seeking for the following prayer:- i) For issuance of a mandamus directing the respondents to reserve the land classified as OSR in Survey No 126, Sirkar Periyapalayam village, Uthukuli Panchayat Union, Tirupur Taluk, Tirupur District as only open space Reservation and further to forbear the respondents from putting up any construction on the said land in any future point in time.
3. Learned counsel for the petitioner would submit that the petitioner has made a representation dated 08.10.2024 to the first respondent, District 2/5
Collector, Thirupur, seeking for the aforesaid relief, since, the said representation has not evoked any response, the petitioner is before this Court by way of present Writ Petition.
4. The learned Special Government Pleader for the respondents submitted that the representation made by the petitioner would be considered and disposed of in accordance with law within the time frame stipulated by this Court.
5. Considering the limited scope of the prayer, sought for, in this Writ Petition, this Court is of the view that suffice it would be to direct the first respondent to dispose of the petitioner's representation on merits and in accordance with law in a time bound manner.
6. Accordingly, this Writ Petition is disposed of by directing the first respondent to dispose of the petitioner's representation dated 08.10.2024 on merits and in accordance with law as expeditiously as possible within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. No costs. Till orders are passed pursuant to the representation made by the petitioner, the interim order granted by this Court dated 3/5
