Criminal Original Petition filed under Section 528 of Bharatiya Nagarik Suraksha Sanhita, 2023, to direct the respondents to provide police protection to the petitioner to do cultivation on his lands situate at R.S.No.159/1, Vadakkanandal Village, Kallakurichi, measuring 3.41 acres out this 1 acre in the South West corner subdivided as 159/1B 40 ares kist RS.1.68 based on the order of this Court in S.A.No.1108 of 1998 dated 04.12.2018 and the petitioner's representation dated 24.10.2024. O R D E R

This Criminal Original Petition is filed to direct the respondents/Police to provide police protection to cultivate his land in question based on the order of this Court in S.A.No.1108 of 1998 dated 04.12.2018 and the petitioner's representation dated 24.10.2024.

2. It is seen from the records that there is a property dispute between the petitioner and others, which is purely civil in nature. Therefore, this Court is not inclined to give any positive direction to the respondents/Police to provide police protection to the petitioner to do cultivation in the aforesaid land in dispute as it is for the petitioner to workout his remedy before the competent Civil Court in the manner known to law.
