By consent of the either parties, the writ petition is disposed at the admission stage itself.

2. This petition has been filed seeking to issue a direction to the respondents to take action for permitting the unauthorised canteen for serving food in the premises of Government Medical College and Hospital Tiruvannamalai based on the representation dated 14.08.2025 and 16.08.2025.

3. It is the case of the petitioner that the petitioner is an authorised license holder for running a canteen vide Na.Ka.No.4320/Thi(ma)va/2017 dated 12.03.2024 in the respondent-hospital, however, without license, an unauthorised canteen has been permitted to run in the said hospital. Hence a detailed representation has been given on 14.08.2025 and 16.08.2025, however, the same has not been considered, hence the present writ petition.

4. Per contra, on instructions, the learned Government Advocate appearing for the respondents 1 to 3 submits that all the unauthorised canteens available in the Government Medical College & Hospital, Tiruvannamalai were evicted.

5. Recording the submission of the learned Government Advocate that all the unauthorised canteens were evicted, the present petition is closed, as nothing survives for adjudication. No costs.
