ORDER

This Criminal Original Petition has been filed to call for the records relating to the Crime No.10 of 2022 on the file of the 1st respondent and quash the same by allowing this Criminal Original petition. 2.When the matter is taken up today, the learned counsel for the petitioner, petitioner, Kazima/defacto-complainant and her counsel Mr.J.Paul Raj and M/s.Sasikala, Women SSI, AWPS, Teynampet are present. Petitioner and defacto-complainant/second respondent filed joint compromise memo and affidavit stating that they have resolved their dispute. It is further submitted by the defacto-complainant/second respondent that she does not want to proceed with the case against the petitioner. She has no objection for withdrawing this case in Crime No.10 of 2022 on the file of the Inspector of Police, All Women Police Station, Teynampet, and for quashing this First Information Report. She was personally enquired and she reiterated that she does not want to prosecute the petitioner and has no objection for quashing the First Information Report in Crime No.10 Of 2022.

3.Recording the submission of the defacto-complainant/second respondent, this Court permits the compromise of issue between the petitioner and the defacto-complainant/second respondent for their better future and orders quashing of the First Information Report in Crime No.10 of 2022 on the file of the Inspector of Police, All Women Police Station, Teynampet. 4.Accordingly, this Criminal Original Petition is allowed. 03.01.2023 Index : Yes / No Speaking / Non Speaking order ep To 1.The State represented by Inspector of Police, W24, Teynampet AWPS, 2.The Public Prosecutor High Court, Madras.
