PRAYER: Contempt Petition filed under Section 11 of Contempt of Court Act, to punish the respondents for committing contempt of Court by willfully disobeying the order passed in W.P.No.44041 of 2016 dated 02.01.2023.

The learned Additional Advocate General submitted that as against the order passed in the Writ Petition in W.P.No.44041 of 2016 dated 02.01.2023, the respondents have preferred an appeal in W.A.No.797 of 2024 and by an order dated 06.03.2024, the contempt proceedings was ordered to be kept in abeyance by the Hon'ble Division Bench.
2. When the Hon'ble Division Bench has already taken cognizance of the matter in the appeal, it would not be appropriate to parallely adjudicate the present Contempt Petition.
3. Accordingly, the Contempt Petition stands closed with liberty to the petitioner to workout her remedies, subject to the outcome of the Writ Appeal.
