Crl.M.P.No. 1486 of 2024 in Crl.O.P.No.16786 of 2021 T.V.THAMILSELVI, J.

Earlier, this Court by an order dated 04.08.2022 disposed of the above Criminal Original Petition and directed the 3rd respondent to complete the investigation in Crime No.979 of 2020 pending on its file and file a final report within a period of three months from the date of that order. Since the said investigation could not be completed within the time stipulated by this court, the petitioners police 1 to 3 herein sought for extension of time.

2. Today, when the matter taken up for hearing, learned counsel for petitioners police 1 to 3 appeared and submitted a status report stating that major part of approval process finalised, however, they are awaiting for their legal advisor's endorsement. Hence, he prayed to extend the time granted by this court.

3. Considering the request made by the petitioners police 1 to 3 herein, this Court is inclined to extend time for the period of four weeks to submit final report from the date of receipt of copy of this order.
