Prayer:- Writ Petitions filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, 1950, praying to issue a Writ of Mandamus, directing the First Respondent to consider the representation of the Petitioner dated 09.06.2017 and 09.10.2017 by accommodating the Petitioner to her original station at Government Girls Higher Secondary School Attur, Salem District in any of the ensuing vacancies arising due to promotion of the incumbent B.T. Assistant (Tamil) or for any other reason or in any other nearby school by taking consideration the fact that the Petitioner's seniority has been refixed with effect from 01.08.2012 as per the proceedings of the First Respondent in Na. Ka. No. 032229/C5/E1/2017, dated 21.02.2017.

Learned Counsel for the Petitioner represents that the Petitioner has collected the case bundle from him earlier with consent for change of vakalat and she would engage another lawyer and she has made an endorsement to that effect in the https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

court record. It has been informed by the Registry that no one else has entered appearance on behalf of the Petitioner in the matter till date. There does not appear to be any useful purpose being served in keeping the Writ Petition pending indefinitely when the Petitioner is not interested in prosecuting the same.

In such circumstances, the Writ Petition is dismissed for non-prosecution. It is made clear that the Petitioner is not precluded from applying for revival of the Writ Petition, if necessary, in accordance with law. No costs.
