The petitioner has filed this petition to quash the FIR in Crime No.224 of 2022 pending investigation on the file of the 1st respondent, for the
offences under Sections 294(b), 324, 506(2) IPC r/w Section 4 of TN Prohibition of Harassment of Women Act.
2. The learned counsel for the petitioner submitted the the matter was settled between the petitioner and the defacto complainant by their family members and now they were living together. Hence, he prays to quash the FIR against the petitioner.
3. The learned Government Advocate (Crl.Side) submitted that FIR in Crime No.224 of 2022, on the file of the first respondent police has been enquired and the same was closed as 'Mistake of Fact' on 22.10.2022.
4. Recording the said submission made by the learned Government Advocate (Crl.Side), this petition is dismissed as infructuous. Consequently, the connected miscellaneous petition is closed. 12.01.2024 Speaking Order/ Non Speaking Order Index: Yes/ No rri
