This writ petition has been filed for direction to the first and second respondents not to change the name of the joint patta No.1237 in Emmampoondi Village, Nambiyur Taluk, Erode District until the dispute finally decided by the court of law in the petition mentioned properties. 2.

Without expressing any opinion on merits of the writ petition, if any application is filed for issuance of joint patta in respect of the subject land, the third respondent is directed to conduct enquiry by issuing notice to the petitioners and respondents 3 & 4 and giving them opportunity of personal hearing, and to pass appropriate orders on merits and in accordance with law, within a period of twelve weeks from the date of receipt of this order.

With the above direction, this writ petition is disposed of. 2/4

There shall be no order as to costs.
