ORDER

The relief sought for in this writ petition is to direct the respondents 1 to 4 to consider the petitioner's online application No.2025/0123/16/005666 dated 19.07.2025 to conduct sub division process bearing survey number 84/2 admeasuring 59.91 ares at Sillakudi Revenue Village, Alathur Taluk, Perambalur District and identify the four boundaries in the said property and issue individual patta with FMB sketch.

2. Mrs.S.Indhu Bala, learned Additional Government Pleader takes notice on behalf of the respondents. By consent of both the parties, this writ petition is taken up for final hearing at the admission stage itself.

3. The case of the petitioner is that the petitioner is the owner of the property comprised in S.No.84/2, measuring 59.91 ares at Sillakudi 2/6

Revenue Village, Alathur Taluk, Perambalur District. The petitioner made an online application dated 19.07.2025, along with relevant documents and requisite fee, to conduct sub division process and issue individual patta and F.M.B.Sketch. However, till date, the said application was not considered by the respondents. Hence, the petitioner has come forward with the present writ petition.

Though many grounds have been raised in this writ petition, learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that, it would suffice, if this Court issues direction to the respondents to consider the petitioner's online application dated 19.07.2025 to conduct sub division process and identify the four boundaries in the said property and issue individual patta with FMB sketch.

5. Learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for the respondents submitted that the petitioner's online application dated 19.07.2025 would be considered and appropriate orders passed within a time frame that may be fixed by this Court.

6. Heard the learned counsel on either side and perused the materials available on record.

Considering the limited relief sought for by the learned counsel for the petitioner, this Court directs the respondents to conduct sub division process and identify the four boundaries in the said property and issue individual patta with FMB sketch, after giving due notice and opportunity of personal hearing to the petitioner as well as aggrieved persons, if any, within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. It is needless to say, in case of any obstruction being created by third parties, the third respondent is at liberty to approach the Police officials, in which case, the Police officials shall render assistance to the third respondent to carry out the aforesaid exercise.

With the aforesaid direction, this writ petition is disposed of. No costs.
