ORDER

This Criminal Original Petition has been filed to direct the respondent to investigate the case in Crime No.2272/2020 and final report before the Competent Court within the time period fixed by this Court. The case of the petitioner is that he along with his brother were running a finance company and one Senthil Kumar, who acted as collecting agent, had collected money from several persons, but he failed to pay the same to the petitioner and his brother and hence, the petitioner and his brother were facing financial crisis, due to which the brother of the petitioner had committed suicide by hanging. In this regard the petitioner had given a complaint to the respondent. The grievance of the petitioner is that though a case has been registered in Crime No.2272 of 2020 for the offence under section 306 of IPC, there is no progress in the investigation. Hence, filed the present petition for the aforesaid relief.

The learned Government Advocate [Criminal Side] appearing for the respondent on instructions submitted that they will expedite investigation and file the final report within a period of four weeks. Accordingly, this Criminal Original Petition is disposed of with a direction to the respondent to expedite investigation and file final report expeditiously.
