Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of Constitution of India praying to issue a Writ of Mandamus directing the respondent No.1 to consider and pass appropriate orders on the recommendation of the 3rd respondent dated 10.01.2011 made in Na.Ka.A6 /687 /11 consequently to award selection grade to the petitioner on completion of 10 years of 1/7

service in the post of Deputy Collector with the benefit of one increment from 04.01.2011 with monetary benefit and an additional increment with notional effect from 04.01.2011, with monetary benefit from 01/04/2013 with pensionary benefit within a time frame fixed by this Court. This writ petition has been filed for direction to the first respondent to consider and pass appropriate orders on the recommendation of the 3rd respondent dated 10.01.2011 made in Na.Ka.A6 /687 /11 and consequently to award selection grade to the petitioner on completion of 10 years of service in the post of Deputy Collector with the benefit of one increment from 04.01.2011 with monetary benefit and an additional increment with notional effect from 04.01.2011, with monetary benefit from 01/04/2013 with pensionary benefit within a time frame fixed by this Court. 2.

Heard, the learned counsel appearing on either side. 2/7

Without expressing any opinion on merits of the writ petition, the third respondent is directed to pass appropriate orders on the representation submitted by the petitioner as forwarded by the first respondent dated 21.11.2025 on merits and in accordance with law, within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of this order. 4.

With the above direction, this writ petition is disposed of. There shall be no order as to costs.

2. The learned counsel for the petitioner has brought to the notice of this Court that a typographical error has crept into Paragraph No. 3 of the order dated 25.11.2025 made in W.P.No.34500 of 2025.

3. Accepting the submission of the learned counsel for the petitioner, Paragraph No.3 of the order dated 25.11.2025 made in W.P.No.34500 of 2025 shall be read as follows : " 3.Without expressing any opinion on merits of the writ petition, the first respondent is directed to pass appropriate orders on the representation submitted by the petitioner, on merits and in accordance with law within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of this order".
