After having perused the affidavit filed in support of the contempt petition, as well as the order dated 01.04.2024 passed in W.P.No.29254 of 2017, this Court is unable to find any positive direction issued to the 2nd respondent, nor any violation of such a direction issued by this Court. On being asked, Ms.N.R.Jasmine Padma, learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submitted that, as the writ petition filed by the petitioner was allowed, the respondent is under obligation to pay all the consequential benefits in terms of the proceedings dated 25.10.2017. However, on perusal of the said proceedings dated 25.10.2017 also, the learned counsel for the petitioner is unable to find what are the consequential benefits for which the petitioner is entitled to.

In the circumstances, this Court does not see any violation of the order passed by this Court, much less a deliberate violation by the 2nd respondent. Hence, the contempt petition is closed. 30.01.2025 Index : Yes / No Internet : Yes / No dpa 2/3
