C.C.No.15 of 2021 on the file of the Judicial Magistrate, Sriperumbudur is pending for nearly three years but there is no progress in the trial. Hence, present petition is filed for speedy disposal of the case.

2. The daily status of the case indicates that summons to the accused yet to be served. Therefore, respondent police is directed to serve the accused on or before 23.01.2024. If the accused is absconding or refused to receive the summons, the learned Judicial Magistrate, Sriperumbudur is directed to take necessary steps to secure him and proceed with the trial.

3. With the above observations and directions, this Criminal Original Petition is disposed of.
