Prayer: Writ Petition filed under Section 226 of Constitution of India to issue a Writ of Mandamus directing the respondents 1 to 3 to provide police protection to the petitioner and his property situated at Bharathi Nagar, Kalingiyam Village, Gobichettipalayam, Erode having Door No.317, House Plot No.184 part 4 to an extent of 4 cents based on the representation of the petitioner dated 14.10.2024.

ORDER

This Writ Petition is filed seeking to issue a Writ of Mandamus directing the respondents 1 to 3 to provide police protection to the petitioner and his property situated at Bharathi Nagar, Kalingiyam Village, Gobichettipalaym, Erode having Door No.317, House Plot No.184 part 4 to an extent of 4 cents based on the representation of the petitioner dated 14.10.2024.

2. Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondent police and perused the materials available on record.

3. Since no adverse order is to be passed against the private respondents, notice to the private respondents is dispensed with.

4. A perusal of the records shows that the allegations are civil in nature for which, the Court cannot provide police protection to the petitioner and private lands.

5. Therefore, this Writ Petition is dismissed.

6. The petitioner is at liberty to work out his remedy in the manner known to law.
