This Criminal Original Petition has been filed seeking direction to 1st respondent to execute the non-bailable warrant issued on 26.10.2022 against the 2nd respondent in C.C.No.6983 of 2014 on the file of the learned FTC-V, Metropolitan Magistrate at Saidapet, Chennai and produce the 2nd respondent on 06.01.2023 before the learned FTC-V, Metropolitan Magistrate at Saidapet, Chennai.
2. The learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that, 2nd respondent is residing at New No.62, Old No.29, 3rd Street, Abhiramapuram, Chennai. Despite Non-Bailable Warrant is pending against the 2nd respondent from the year 2017, the 1st respondent is not taking effective steps to execute the NonBailable Warrant. Therefore, this petition is filed. 2/4
3. The learned Government Advocate (Crl. Side) submitted that the 1st respondent police visited the address of the 2nd respondent given in the NonBailable Warrant and found that the 2nd respondent is not residing there and they are trying to find out his address and execute the Non-Bailable Warrant.
4. Recording the submissions made by the learned Government Advocate (Crl. Side), 1st respondent is directed to take effective steps to find out the exact address of the 2nd respondent and execute the Non-Bailable Warrant as early as possible, preferably within a month and produce before the concerned Court for further action.
5. With the above observations and directions, this Criminal Original Petition is disposed of .
