2.Learned Official Assignee has submitted a report in support of Appln. No.3 of 2025.
3.Learned counsel appearing for the petitioning creditor has stated no objection for allowing Appln. No.3 of 2025.

4.Learned Senior Counsel appearing for the discharged insolvent is also present.
5.This Court is satisfied with the report filed by the Official Assignee in support of Appln. No.3 of 2025.
6.Accordingly, Appln. No.3 of 2025 is allowed as prayed for by permitting the Official Assignee to pay surplus amount of Rs.2,66,45,894/- along with accrued interest if any to the discharged insolvent in I.P. No.77 of 2002 within a period of three weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. 7.It is made clear that in case any Income Tax payments or any other statutory demand arises out of the said payment, the discharged insolvent alone shall be responsible to pay the same to the statutory authorities and the Official Assignee Office shall not be responsible for the same. 8.Learned Senior Counsel for the respondent on instructions would submit that the insolvent has got no objection for allowing Appln. No.2 of 2025, which has been filed by the Official Assignee seeking permission to retain a sum of Rs.7,10,038/- towards various expenses, liabilities and provisions in the estate of discharged insolvent.
9.Learned counsel for the petitioning creditor has also stated no objection for allowing Appln. No.2 of 2025.

10.This Court is satisfied with the reasons contained in the affidavit filed in support of Appln. No.2 of 2025.
11.Accordingly, Appln. Nos.2 and 3 of 2025 are allowed. 11.08.2025 vga 3/4
