O R D E R

The petitioner has filed the above Writ Petition to issue a Writ of Mandamus seeking for issuance of patta for the property situated at Survey No.65/1, measuring an extent of Acre 2.28 cents in the total extent of Acre 3.41 cents at Kothakatai Village, Vaniyambadi Taluk, Vellore District in favour of the legal heirs of Mr.Raja Gounder, viz., (i) the petitioner, (ii) Mr.R.Ashokan, (iii) Mr. R.Sarath Kumar, (iv) Mr.R.Viswanathan & (v) Mr.R.Vignesh and also to delete the entry shown in respect of Survey No.65/1 in view of the representation dated 08.05.2017.

2. Ms.A.Mathumathi, learned Special Government Pleader appearing for the respondents 1, 3 and 4 and Mr.M. Elumalai, learned Government Advocate, appearing for the 2nd respondent submitted that the respondents 2 and 4 may be directed to consider the petitioner's representation dated 08.05.2017 and pass orders in accordance with law.

3. Having regard to the submissions made by the learned Special Government Pleader appearing for the respondents 1, 3 and 4 and the learned Government Advocate, appearing for the 2nd respondent, without expressing any opinion with regard to the merits of the case, I direct the respondents 2 and 4 to consider the petitioner's representation dated 08.05.2017 and pass orders on merits and in accordance with law, within a period of twelve weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. With these observations, the Writ Petition is disposed of. No costs.
