O R D E R

This writ petition has been filed challenging the order passed by the Tahsildar rejecting the petitioner's request for grant of Legal Heir certificate.

2. According to the petitioner, he is the son of one Murugesan, who expired on 19.12.1975. After his demise, the petitioner filed an application before the second respondent Tahsildar seeking legal heir certificate, that came to be https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

rejected on the ground that the petitioner did not produced any records. Challenging the said order the present writ petition has been filed.

3. The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submitted that pending writ petition, by way of an interim order this Court directed the second respondent Tahsildar to conduct enquiry and the petitioner also appeared for the enquiry, but so far no order has been passed.

4. Mrs.Meera Arumugam, learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for the respondents, on instructions, submitted that pending writ petition legal heir certificate was issued to the petitioner on 29.12.2021, and a copy of the said legal heir certificate was also produced before this Court.

5. Considering the above circumstances, as the legal heir certificate has been issued to the petitioner, nothing remains for adjudication in this writ petition and the writ petition is closed. No costs.
