The Superintendent, Central Prison Palayamkottai. ...Respondents Prayer:- Writ petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying to issue a Writ of Mandamus, to direct the first respondent herein namely the Government of Tamil Nadu represented by the Additional Chief Secretary to Government Home (Prison-II) Department, Fort St. George, Chennai 600 009, to issue suitable Government orders to the effect of regularising her services in the post of II Grade Warder with effect from the date of her first appointment that is on 07.09.1988 and to grant the petitioner attendant service and monetary benefits attached to the above said post and to fix her pension from 31.01.2015 and pay the resultant arrears out of such fixation within a short date that may be fixed by this court in the light of the orders in W.A.No.635 of 2011 dated 12.04.2011 of this court and G.O.Ms.No.952 Home (Prison-II) Department dated 29.12.2017. By consent of both sides, the writ petition is taken up for final disposal at the admission stage itself. 2.The case of the petitioner is that the petitioner is working as Female Escort Warder Grade II and filed a Writ Petition to issue a direction to the 1st respondent, the https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

Government of Tamilnadu to issue suitable Government orders to the effect of regularising the services as Female Escort Warder Grade II with effect from the date of her initial appointment on 07.09.1988 with attendant, service and monetary benefits attached to the said post of Female Escort Warder Grade II and all other promotion benefits also and to revise the pension on reaching superannuation and pay the resultant arrears within a time-frame fixed by this Court.

3.The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner would submit that without going into the merits of the case, it would suffice if this court grants liberty to the petitioner to give representation to the respondents and directions to the respondents to consider the representation that is to be filed and to pass appropriate orders.

4.Considering the limited request made by the learned counsel for the petitioner, this court permits the petitioner to give representation to the respondents and this court directs the respondents to consider the representation, if any, given by the petitioner, on merits and in accordance with law, as expeditiously as possible.

5.Accordingly, this writ petition stands disposed of. No costs.
