.. Respondent PRAYER: Writ Petitions filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India to issue Writ of Certiorari to call for the records pertaining to the D.O.No.601/2022 and R.C.No.A1/555-08/2022 dated 17.11.2022 and quash the same.

COMMON ORDER Through impugned order dated 17.11.2022, both the petitioners herein have been transferred and posted as Special Sub Inspector of Police in Krishnagiri District. Pending writ petitions, the petitioners have also jointed to the transferred place and continued to work as Special Sub Inspector of Police at the respective police stations.

2. Learned counsel for the petitioners would submit that the respondents have been consistently transferring the petitioners on very short duration and therefore, requested that they may be granted liberty to approach the respondents, seeking for re-transfer to the place of their choice.

3. In the light of the submission made, the petitioners are granted liberty to make proper application before the respondents herein, seeking for transfer and on receipt of the same, the respondents shall consider the same on its own merits and pass orders in accordance with law within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of such application. 2/4
