This writ petition has been filed for issuance of Writ of Mandamus directing the respondent to dispose of the representation dated 24.10.2019 made by the petitioner seeking for family pension and other terminal benefits.

2. It is seen from records that the husband of the petitioner was working as Assistant Agricultural Officer in the office of the respondent. When he was due for retirement on 31.07.2005, he was suspended from service on 28.07.2005. He died on 11.08.2013. Therefore, the disciplinary proceedings abated. The petitioner has given a representation to the respondent seeking for terminal benefits and for sanction of family pension. Since the representation was not considered, the present Writ Petition has been filed before this Court. 3.Heard Mr.G.Amalraj, learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and Mrs.K.Bhuvaneswari, learned Additional Government Pleader, appearing for the respondent.

Taking into consideration the facts and circumstances of the case and the limited relief that has been sought for in this Writ Petition, there shall be a direction to the respondent to consider the representation dated 24.10.2019 made by the petitioner and pass appropriate orders strictly in accordance with law, within a period of six weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. The petitioner is directed to give a fresh representation along with a copy of the representation dated 24.10.2019 and copy of this order.

5. The Writ Petition is disposed of with the above directions. No costs.
