Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India for issuance of a Writ of Mandamus, directing the second respondent to dispose of the Petitioners Appeal dated 10.07.2019 as provided vide TNEB service Regulation No.98(2)(b) within the time stipulated by this Hon'ble Court.

By consent of both sides counsel, this writ petition is taken up for final disposal at the admission stage itself. 2.This writ petition has been filed for issuance of Writ of Mandamus directing the second respondent to dispose of the appeal that was filed by the petitioners on 10.07.2019, within a time frame fixed by this Court.
3.It is seen from records that the petitioners are aggrieved by the seniority list prepared by the management since according to the petitioners, their juniors are being brought in the promotion list for the post of Foremen. Therefore, the petitioners have filed an appeal before the second respondent on 10.07.2019 as per the regulation and the same is kept pending for the last four months. Aggrieved by the same, the present writ petition has been filed before this Court.
4.Heard Mr.P.Chandrasekaran, learned counsel appearing for the petitioners and Mr.Karthik Rajan, learned Senior Standing counsel appearing on behalf of the respondent 1 to 3. 5.Taking into consideration the facts and circumstances of the case and the limited relief that has been sought for by the petitioners, there shall be a direction to the second respondent to consider the appeal filed by the petitioners on 10.07.2019 and take a decision strictly in accordance with law and pass orders within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of copy of this order. The petitioners are directed to give a fresh representation to the second respondent along with the copy of the appeal and also the copy of this order. 6.This writ petition is disposed of with the above directions. No costs.
