ORDER

This petition has been filed to direct the respondent herein to comply with the order made in Crl.M.P.No.346 of 2024, dated 18.06.2024, passed by the Additional Mahila Court, Alandur and to investigate and register a FIR on the complaint, dated 25.05.2022, in accordance with law and on merits within a time limit as may be prescribed by this Court.

2. Despite the Court below giving a direction in Crl.M.P.No.346 of 2024 on 18.06.2024, the respondent-Police did not file the charge-sheet and therefore, the petitioner has approached this Court by way of this petition for the relief stated supra.

3. When this petition is taken up for hearing today (17.12.2024), the learned Additional Public Prosecutor produced a copy of the FIR registered in Crime No.8 of 2024, dated 05.12.2024 for the offences under Sections 85, 296(b) and 315(3) of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita (i.e. BNS), 2023. In view of the same, this petition is closed. The respondent-Police is directed to expedite the investigation and file charge-sheet before the appropriate Court within three months from today.
