ORDER

This petition has been filed to enlarge the petitioner on bail in the event of arrest in Crime No.180 of 2024 for the offences under Sections 273 and 328 of IPC and Section 9(1) and 20(2) of the Cigarette and Other Tobacco Product Act, 2003 on the file of the respondent.

2.The case of the prosecution is that based on the secret information on 07.05.2024, the respondent police went to the house of the petitioner and found that he was in possession of 743.95 Kgs of contraband and the same were seized. Hence, a case has been registered in Crime No.180 of 2024 for the offences under Sections 273 and 328

of IPC and Section (91) and 20(2) of the Cigarette and Other Tobacco Product Act, 2003.

3.Heard both sides.

4.The contraband seized from the petitioner's premise is commercial quantity. Hence, this Court is not inclined to allow this petition. Accordingly, this Criminal Original Petition is dismissed.
