ORDER
The petitioner apprehends arrest at the hands of the respondent police for the offences punishable under Sections 81 & 351(3) of BNS, in Crime No.Not known of 2025, seeks anticipatory bail.

The case of the prosecution is that the defacto complainant, Sandhya, lodged a complaint with the respondent police station, alleging that she and the petitioner had been in a live-in relationship for over a year. The petitioner married the defacto complainant on 22.08.2025 at the Mariamman Temple, Coimbatore, and subsequently threatened and abused her. Hence, the case.
3. The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submit that the petitioner is an innocent person and he has not committed any offence as alleged by the prosecution. Hence, he prays for grant of anticipatory bail to the petitioner.

The learned Government Advocate (Crl.Side) appearing for the respondent police submitted that the defacto complainant, Sandhya, lodged a complaint with the respondent police station, alleging that she and the petitioner had been in a live-in relationship for over a year. The petitioner married the
defacto complainant on 22.08.2025 at the Mariamman Temple, Coimbatore, and subsequently threatened and abused her. Hence, he opposed for grant of anticipatory bail to the petitioner.
5. Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and the learned Government Adovocate (Criminal Side) appearing for the respondent police. 6.
Considering the above submissions and facts, this Court is of the view that the complaint was lodged due to matrimonial disputes, hence this Court is inclined to grant interim anticipatory bail and directs the petitioner and the defacto complaint to appear before the Mediation and Conciliation Centre at Coimbatore on or before 10.10.2025.

Post the matter on 14.10.2025, till then the respondent police is directed not to arrest the petitioner.
