ORDER

(made by the Hon'ble Chief Justice) Though the petitioner seeks an adjournment, it is submitted on behalf of the official respondents that the petition pertains to an auction notice pertaining to the lease of fishing rights for the period up to June 30, 2020. Since such period has long expired, the petition has become meaningless.

2. The prayer in the petition is for issuing a direction to call for the records pertaining to the impugned auction notice https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

dated October 15, 2019 in respect of Kalianur Agraharam Lake, Namakkal District.

3. Since the fishing rights indicated in the auction notice appear to have covered the tenure of a year and such tenure has long expired, W.P.No.34025 of 2019 is disposed of as infructuous and without going into the merits thereof. Nothing in this order will stop the petitioner from challenging any future auction notice, if the petitioner is so advised. Consequently, W.M.P.No.34620 of 2019 is closed. There will be no order as to costs.
