(This case has been heard through video conferencing) This Criminal Original Petition has been filed seeking direction to direct the first respondent police to give adequate police protection to the petitioner's life and limb on the basis of the complaint given by the petitioner dated 22.07.2019. https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/
2. Heard Mr.M.Kempraj, learned counsel for the petitioner, Mr.S.Karthikeyan, learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the first respondent, Mr.Govindaraj, learned counsel appearing for the second respondent and Mr.V.Virumandi, learned counsel appearing for the third respondent.
3. Today when the petition is came up for hearing, learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the first respondent on instructions would submit that the complaint dated 22.07.2019 given by the petitioner was received by the first respondent and enquiry has also been initiated in CSR.No.239 of 2019. He would further submit that during enquiry, if it is found that protection is required, sufficient action will be taken.
4. Hence, in view of the submission made by the learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the first respondent, no further order is necessary in this application.
5. With the above observation, this Criminal Original Petition is closed.
