Respondents Prayer : Writ Petition under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying for the issuance of a Writ of Mandamus directing the respondents to survey the petitioner's land in Plot Nos.25 to 32, II Part, III and IV in S.Nos.760/1A and 760/3 (After Sub Division 760/3B2) situated at Hindustan Motor Lay out, Korattur Village, Kallikuppam, Chennai as per the approval granted by the CMDA in P.P.D/L.O. O R D E R
The prayer sought for herein is for a Writ of Mandamus directing the respondents to survey the petitioner's land in Plot Nos.25 to 32, II Part, III and IV in S.Nos.760/1A and 760/3 (After Sub Division 760/3B2) situated at Hindustan Motor Lay out, Korattur Village, Kallikuppam, Chennai as per the approval granted by the CMDA in P.P.D/L.O. No.95/93 vide Letter No.L10857/03 dated 04.08.1993.
2. In order to survey the land and identify the four boundaries of the land situated at 760/1A and 760/3 (After Sub Division 760/3B2) situated at Hindustan Motor Lay out, Korattur Village, Kallikuppam, Chennai, the petitioner has given an application and paid necessary fee to the 1st respondent on 05.12.2022. In order to entertain the same and to do the needful to survey the land, the petitioner has moved the present writ petition.
3. Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and Mr.RP.Muruganraja learned Government Advocate appearing for the respondents.
4. Learned Government Advocate appearing for the respondents would submit that if the petitioner has made an application and has paid the necessary 2 / 4
fees, the respondent would take up the same and do the needful within a time frame that may be stipulated by this Court.
5. Considering the limited scope of the prayer and having regard to the submission made by the learned Government Advocate, this Court is inclined to dispose of this writ petition with the following order. "That there shall be a direction to the respondents to do the needful by considering the application of the petitioner with regard to the plea of surveying the land of the petitioner and accordingly complete the same within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order."
