The Writ Petition has been filed, seeking to issue a Writ of 1/5
Mandamus directing the first and second respondents to give permission to conduct the cultural programme (Adal Padal Nigalchi) on 03.01.2023 at 6.00 pm. To 11.00 pm. At Sri Mariamman Temple Maha Kumbhabhishekarm festival at Guruva Reddy Podur Village, N.Dhasirapalli Post, Krishnagiri Taluk and Krishnagiri District by consider and pass order on the petitioner's representation dated 16.12.2022.

The learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that in order to conduct cultural programme on 03.01.2023 between 06.00 p.m to 11.00 p.m, in the event of Sri Mariamman Temple Maha Kumbhabhishekarm festival at Guruva Reddy Podur Village, N.Dhasirapalli Post, Krishnagiri Taluk and Krishnagiri District, the petitioner has sent a representation, dated 16.12.2022 to the respondent. But, the same has not been considered so far. Hence, the present writ petition has been filed.
3. The learned Government Advocate (Crl.Side), appearing for the respondent submitted that the respondent police has received the representation of the petitioner and the same is pending for consideration. 2/5
4. I have considered the submission of the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Government Advocate (Crl.Side) appearing for the respondent police.

It is brought to the notice of this Court that the Director General of Police, Tamil Nadu, Chennai, had issued a circular memorandum in Rc.007301/Genl.I(1)/2019, dated 09.04.2019, along with instructions to the Inspectors of Police throughout Tamil Nadu for consideration of applications seeking permission for conducting cultural programme. Therefore, in view of the detailed circular and guidelines issued by the Director General of Police, the respondent police is hereby directed to consider the representation of the petitioner, dated 16.12.2022 and pass suitable orders based on the above said circular. Uploaded copy can be utilized for the purpose of execution of the order.
6. With the above direction, this Writ Petition is disposed of. No costs.
