By consent of both sides, the writ petition is taken up for final disposal at the admission stage itself. 2.The case of the petitioner is that the petitioner joined as Elementary School Secondary Grade Teacher on 30.01.1984. Thereafter, she was promoted as BT Teacher to teach Mathematics.
Subsequently, she was promoted as Headmaster. Thereafter, she was promoted as AAEEO (now called as BEO) on 05.08.2016, at Kancheepuram District. Then she was transferred and posted as AAEEO-II, Peranamallur Block, Vandavasi Taluk, Thiruvannamalai District. Due to family circumstances she has opted to work as Headmaster instead of AAEEO.BEO, inter alia, both were considered equal cadre. Now the Government has changed the BEO post as a promotional post and due to change of circumstances in her family, she has requested the 1st respondent to consider for the promotion of BEO vide representation dated 19.07.2019. Since the vacancies are about to fill up. Hence, the petitioner is before this Court.

3.The learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that, it would suffice if a direction is issued to the 1st respondent to consider the representation of the petitioner dated 19.07.2019, within a reasonable time fixed by this Court for the promotion as Block Education Officer.
4.The learned Government Advocate appearing for the respondents would accede to the submission made by the learned counsel for the petitioner and submitted that if any such representation was received by the respondents, the same will be considered on merits and in accordance with law. 5.Thus, without going into the merits of the case, this Court is inclined to direct the 1st respondents to consider the representation of petitioner dated 19.07.2019 and pass appropriate orders on merits and in accordance with law within a period of twelve weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
6.With the above directions, the writ petition stands disposed of. No costs.
