This application has been filed to grant leave to record the fact of demise of the first respondent on 12.09.2023 and to permit the petitioner to carry out the amendment in the petition by inserting the word deeased in the long cause title as against the first respondent.

2. The learned counsel appearing for the applicant submitted that first respondent, who is the father of the applicant has died and the petitioner and the second respondent are the legal heirs of the first respondent and there is no other legal heir to be impleaded in this petition. He has also produced the death certificate of the first respondent. Hence, seeks to record the factum of the death of the first respondent and to carry out the amendment, the present application has been filed.

3. Considering the above submissions, this application is Ordered as prayed for. The applicant is directed to carry out necessary amendment and file amended copy of the petition.
