ORDER

This Contempt Petition was filed on the ground that the order passed by this Court in Crl.OP.No.19044 of 2023 dated 23.8.2023, was not complied with.

2.When the matter was taken up for hearing, Mr.S.Akilan, Sub Inspector of Police, Vettavalam Police Station, Tiruvannamalai District, was present at the time of hearing.

3.The learned Government Advocate (Crl.Side) on instructions submitted that the investigation was completed and final report was filed before the Additional Mahila Court, Tiruvannamalai on 11.01.2024. The e-filing number was also provided to the Court. 4.The learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that A1 and A3 are absconding and their bail was also cancelled and non-bailable warrant was pending and they are yet to be secured by the respondent police. 5.In view of the above, there shall be a direction to the learned Additional Mahila Court, Tiruvannamalai, to act upon the final report within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of copy of the order. The learned Judge shall also follow up with the police and ensure that the accused persons are secured pursuant to the execution of the non-bailable warrant.

6.This contempt petition is disposed of with the above directions. 12.01.2024
