Petition is filed to transfer the investigation in Crime No.450 of 2018 from the respondent police to CBCID.

2. According to the learned counsel for the petitioner, complaint is of the year 2018 and it is not properly investigated and closure report was also filed as mistake of fact. The status report was not accepted by the learned Judicial Magistrate and reinvestigation was ordered by an order dated 07.08.2023.

3. The grievance of the petitioner is that, even after lapse of four months, there is no further investigation in this matter. Therefore, seek for transfer of investigation.

4. The learned Government Advocate (Crl. Side) submitted that, case has been entrusted to Sub Inspector of Police attached to respondent police 2/4

station for further investigation and the investigation will get completed within a period of four months.

5. In view of the submissions made by the learned counsel appearing for the parties, this Court is of the view that the investigation shall be monitored by the Assistant Commissioner of Police and see that the investigation get completed within the period mentioned above.
