This petition has been filed by the petitioner seeking a direction to to the respondent to register the complaint of the petitioner dated 08.05.2021 vide C.S.R. No.179 of 2021.

2. The petitioner herein had lodged a complaint with the respondent police on 08.05.2021 and C.S.R. No.179 of 2021 was assigned. Thereafter, no F.I.R. has been registered. Hence, the above petition.
3. The complaint is that on 03.11.2021, one Rajendran known to the petitioner had taken the petitioner's BMW car bearing Registration No.TN 09 CF 5555 for one week. Thereafter, he had not returned the car and he was unable to be contacted. Hence, the petitioner lodged the above complaint.
4. Learned Additional Public Prosecutor submits that on the petitioner's complaint C.S.R. No.179 of 2021 was immediately assigned. Both the petitioner as well as the said Rajendran were summoned to the police and during enquiry, it was found that Rajendran had taken the car to Bangalore. Due to Covid-19 restrictions, the car could not be immediately transported from Bangalore and both of them have now resolved the issue 2/4
and thereafter there was no complaint. Based on the understanding, the complaint has been closed. He has also produced a letter given by the petitioner in this regard.
5. In view of the issue being resolved between the petitioner and the said Rajendran and availability of the car has been informed to the petitioner, no further order is required in this petition. Accordingly, this Criminal Original Petition is dismissed.
