This Contempt petition has been filed against the respondent for wilful disobedience of the order of this Court in WP No.5684 of 2024 dated 06.03.2024.

When the matter was taken up for hearing today, the affidavit of the respondent was filed. The relevant portion is extracted hereunder :- 6.

It is submitted that based on the above order, the petitioner given a fresh representation on 06.03.2024 to the 2nd respondent herein. Based on the petitioner representation the 2nd respondent police conducted an enquiry at that time the petitioner stated that the possession of said property was already handed over by the tenant on 23.12.2024. So based on the statement given by the petitioner enquiry has been closed on 08.01.2025.
