The petitioner/A1 who was arrested and remanded to judicial custody on 11.09.2023 for the offences registered under Sections 417, 353(A), 376 of IPC, in Crime No.22 of 2023, seeks bail. 2.It is stated that the petitioner and the defacto complainant are also relatives and they had been in relationship and the petitioner had promised to marry her.

3.Sofar as the offence under Section 353A of IPC is concerned, the statement under Section 164 Cr.P.C recorded from the victim reveals that the petitioner had also taken photographs and videos during a video call, after asking her to put herself in a compromising position. 4.The statement is quite revealing and further investigation will have to be done on all these aspects.

5.This is the second application for bail and the earlier application for bail had been dismissed by this Court on 03.11.2023 in Crl.O.P.No.25269 of 2023.

6.It is stated on behalf of the respondent that the charge sheet would be filed shortly before the concerned jurisdictional Court. 7.Let the defacto complainant/victim be examined as a witness and cross examined. 8. At this stage, this Court is not inclined to grant bail to the petitioner.
